Senior Financial Analyst (w/m/x)

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, who will work closely with GBS Controller to provide financial analysis and control of dedicated GBS Performance Unit in any aspects including cost controlling, budgeting, and forecasting. In this role you will be a member of wider Finance network and will support GBS Organization on a daily basis.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing Plan and Forecasts for selected GBS Performance Units,
- Analyzing monthly actual cost on GBS Performance Unit,
- Explaining the variances between plan/forecast and actual cost to Corporate Finance Organization,
- Cooperating with GBS Controller and Corporate FP&A team,
- Providing financial support to functional managers within GBS,
- Preparing manual entry GL journals and performing month-end activities related to accrual postings or reclassification of costs,
- Reviewing GBS headcount, efficiency and savings calculations,
- Maintaining timesheets dashboard, hiring approval spreadsheet, Power BI cost dashboard; working on GBS reporting/dashboards enhancements,
- Providing ad hoc analysis, reporting and support to GBS Controller and GBS VP
Requirements:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance & Accounting,
- 3-5 years of relevant experience,
- Good knowledge of Power Bi, Smartsheet application and MS Excel, including Power Query,
- Very good English skills,
- Good communication and presentation skills,
- Ability to engage stakeholders, including high-level management, and to build appropriate partnership,
- Analytical mindset combined with strategic-thinking and problem-solving skills, ability to make recommendations,
- Working knowledge of Oracle ERP system and Project Accounting module would be an additional asset
